Just days after they were reunited behind bars, the fiancé of accused Aussie drug mule Cassie Sainsbury has made explosive claims about her arrest.
Speaking with Channel Seven’s Sunday Night, Scott Broadbridge alleges the 22-year-old was lured to danger by fellow Australians and describes his partner’s trip to Colombia as a ‘surprise.’
In a teaser for the exclusive interview with reporter Denham Hitchcock, Broadbridge also reveals he has previously seen payments from the mystery man behind the disastrous cocaine deal deposited into Sainsbury’s account.
The former personal trainer was arrested El Dorado International Airport on April 11 when police allegedly found 5.8 kilograms of cocaine concealed in her luggage.
It is believed she will also speak on the show about the moment she was busted in the airport.
