Julie Bullock, 49, her son Hudson, and her daughter Sienna, both seven, were driving to Wollondilly Anglican College in Sydney’s south when they collided head-on with another car which crossed onto the wrong side of the highway.

In a shock twist, it has been revealed today that the driver of the second car – who is currently in a serious condition in hospital – also has twins at the same school as Hudson and Sienna.

The driver of the second car is still too sick to speak and the police are yet to determine the cause of the crash.

Sienna is currently recovering at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where her father, Darren is by her bedside.

‘Nobody walks here and nobody drives here, they all travel by bus or by car and so it resonates with everyone. ‘That could have been me or it could have been my kids’,’ Dr Stuart Quarmby the headmaster at Wollondilly Anglican College told 9NEWS.

‘He [Darren} is obviously deeply affected he is sitting beside the remaining part of his family which is his little girl. He is praying for her and looking after her,’ he continued.
