Angela Jay, the doctor stabbed 11 times and doused I petrol by the deranged ex boyfriend she met on Tinder, has finally broken her silence.
Three weeks after the horrific crime that nearly killed her, Dr Angela Jay on Friday published a message marking White Ribbon Day and Thanksgiving.
The California native said both dates ‘have particular significance for me this year as I almost lost my life 3 weeks ago in a very violent way’.
The 28-year-old – who said she was ‘so thankful that I was able to get away’ – expressed her gratitude to the police, paramedics, doctors and nurses who helped save her.
36-year-old Paul Lambert committed the shocking crime earlier this month before being shot dead by police officers.
He had flown to Port Macquarie from Sydney after Dr Jay filed for an Apprehended Violence Order against him.
