Demi Lovato has struck up a hot new romance with female DJ Lauren Abedini, according to a new report out of the US.
The star was recently spotted holding hands with her reported new love interest at Disneyland in California, according to US Star magazine.
And the publication reports Let It Go singer Demi, 25, believes she’s found a perfect match in Lauren, 26, who goes by the stage name KITTENS.
“Demi has always been attracted to women, but no one expected her to date one,” a friend told the magazine, adding: “She says it’s just like hanging out with her BFF.”
The former Disney alum – who counts actor Wilmer Valderrama and UFC star Luke Rockhold among her exes – has been coy about her sexuality in recent years.
But Star notes her upcoming documentary: ‘Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated’, “will answer a lot of questions about her bi-curiosity.”
Lovato, who is a longtime LGBT advocate, has previously said, “If I ever want to talk about it, I want it to be on my own terms.”
She has yet to comment on Star‘s report.
