Delta Goodrem reunited with her former toyboy lover Nick Jonas over breakfast in LA last Tuesday, sparking rumours the good-looking couple may have reunited.
The 32-year-old Aussie songbird dated hunky Nick – who is eight years her junior – back in 2011, but they called it quits after 10 months in February 2012 and vowed to remain friends.
However, it looked like no time had passed as the pair flirted up a storm over breakfast following a cosy gym session together.
Nick was just 19 when they dated, sparking speculation the relationship was a fauxmance, but the pair have always maintained it was the real deal.
An insider tells New Idea: ‘Everyone would love to see these two hook up again, but they’ve proven over time to be better off as friends. They’re very loyal to each other and will always have each other’s backs. Only time will tell if their gym workouts turn into something more, but for now it’s just a friends thing.’
