A UK man has revealed his ‘family friendly’ sex robot on live TV, admitting he lets it sit around the house even while his kids are home.
Arran Lee White appeared on the UK show This Morning with ‘Samantha’, his sex robot.
‘A sex robot is not to replace people and we’re not trying to replace women. It’s used as a supplement to help people,’ Arran said on the show.
Sex robots have become hugely popular over the last several years, with technology allowing them to become incredibly lifelike.
When asked where he keeps ‘Samantha’, Arran told hosts he simply activates ‘family mode’ and stores her in the living room.
This allows him to have her around his children, who are five and three-years-old.
Arran continued, ‘My children, they say, ‘Where’s Samantha?’ So she can be at home and you ask her, ‘Tell me something about animals’ and she will.’
When asked what he is going to do once his children are old enough to realize Samantha’s true purpose, Arran simply responded, ‘The world is changing’.
What is perhaps even more strange is that Arran’s wife was in the studio.
‘I’m not offended to have her around or worried she might replace me. Not at all. She’s just someone there like a family member,’ she said.
‘I’m not worried because I’m not replaceable. It has enhanced our relationship. We have fun with her. I’m not worried about someone else for Aarran to have an affair. It’s fun to have her around.’
It’s not surprising that Twitter had a few thoughts on the matter.
