The estranged couple, who are expecting their first child together, were spotted in Sydney, where they both faced a court hearing into a defamation claim.
The claim has been made against Cyrell and Married At First Sight’s broadcaster, Nine.
Cyrell is being sued for $50,000 by the Pelican Cafe Takeaway for comments she made following an alleged altercation with owner Deborah Wilson.
Mumbrella reports that Nine is being sued for an article headlined “Married at First Sight 2019: Cyrell claims woman called her racial slurs and physically attacked her” to its websites Nine and 9Honey.
Deborah has said in her claim: “[This] greatly injured in her reputation, has suffered hurt to feelings and has been and will be brought into public disrepute, odium, ridicule and contempt”.
The hearing was adjourned to give Cyrell more time to file her defence.
Eden and Cyrell barely interacted as they walked out of the courtroom together.
In June, Cyrell posted a video to her 235,000 Instagram followers about her negative experience at Shoal Bay’s Pelican Cafe Takeaway.
The incident occurred while MAFS star “Cyclone” Cyrell was dining with her now ex Love Island Australia boyfriend, Eden Dally.
In a series of disturbing pics and videos posted to social media, the Channel Nine reality contestant was physically and verbally attacked by a woman whom many believed to be the owner of the cafe.
Cyrell said in the video that she was on the receiving end of multiple racial slurs, including being called a “black monkey”.
“And this lady, a restaurant owner… thought it would be hilarious while I’m walking down the street to turn around and call me a ‘f—ing black.”
Deborah, the cafe owner, has tried to explain her account of the event.
She released the below statement on her cafe’s Facebook page.
It has been a tumultuous time for Cyrell.
Earlier this month, she and Eden called time on their romance just weeks before she is set to give birth to the couple’s baby boy.
Cyrell took to Instagram to share a photo of her and her bump and confirm the break-up in a lengthy Instagram story.
“Even if it’s just you and me. We’ll create our own happiness. #mylittleprince #myoneandonly,” she wrote on a picture of her in black underwear showing off her growing belly.
She also took to her Instagram story to write: “You would think people would be happy to hear about my break-up. Are you all not happy? Was this not what you all rooted and prayed for? Or maybe your prayers of me having a miscarriage is what ur hoping for next?
“We live in a sad, bad world where [we] wish and pray for misery on others to feel better about ourselves.
“I hope this shows a reflection of the weak, sad individual you are. I may not have a partner but my son is all I need.”
Cyrell has also deleted all images of her and Eden from her account and they have unfollowed each other on social media.
WHO recently caught up with the soon-to-be parents about whether marriage was on the cards and their answer was very surprising.
Eden said, “If we break up down the track… Not that we are, but you know [with a divorce] you get to get all the paperwork.”
Cyrell chimed in, “We just genuinely believe marriage is a piece of paper. We love each other and obviously that’s enough for us.”
