Prince William and his Duchess Kate are planning a royal purge of Charles and Camilla from the monarchy when they take over the throne, and they have Queen Elizabeth’s approval, Globe is reporting.
“Her Majesty told them they were the only ones who could drag the royals into the 21st century and tear down the walls of pomp and ceremony that keep the family isolated from the world,” a source tells the publication
William and Kate have always wanted to banish “the scandalmongers, backstabbers and hangers-on in the palace,” the source reveals, and Camilla and Charles are top of the list.
It’s of a personal nature too for the young prince.
“William blames Camilla for his shattered childhood,” says the source. “He believes her sleazy affair with Charles led to his parents’ divorce, and then Diana’s death.
“Meanwhile, Kate has endured years of Camilla’s blatant backstabbing and a no-holds-barred campaign to sabotage her in the eyes of Elizabeth. Camilla has spread vicious rumors and lies, blasted Kate as a commoner and even called her an unfit mother.”
Adds Globe’s source: “The new king and queen want Charles and Camilla out of their lives forever.”
