Duchess Camilla only got in a relationship with Prince Charles to get back at her ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles, because he was cheating with Charles’ sister Princess Anne, according to a sensational report today in US magazine Globe.

The alleged trysts between Parker Bowles and Princess Anne were kept secret for decades until the publication of the book Diana: Princess of Wales revealed the affair.

“Camilla was passionately in love with Andrew, but he was a no-good cad, sleeping with other women – including some of her very good friends,” one source tells to the publication.

“The last straw came when he hooked up with Princess Anne. Camilla desperately wanted to make Andrew jealous. She saw her chance when she was brought into Charles’ circle by a mutual friend, Lucia Santa Cruz.”

Globe reports that Camilla set her sights on Charles and the two began a fling.

Camilla eventually won her “two-timing” cavalry officer after Princess Anne ended their relationship because, as a member of the Church of England, she couldn’t marry a Roman Catholic. Camilla and Parker Bowles wed and had two children together.

In 1978, Camilla and Charles reignited their affair and kept seeing each other even after he married Diana in 1981.

“There were three of us in this marriage,” Diana later told an interviewer.
