Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been cancelled after five seasons.
Deadline reports the cop comedy has been given the axe due to dropped ratings.
The cancellation means the Season 5 finale, which airs on May 20, will be the show’s last episode.
The show’s cancellation comes despite reports the Andy Samberg comedy was set to be renewed.
Melissa Fumero, who plays Detective Santiago, recently spoke on the show’s chances for renewal, saying ‘everybody feels like we’re not done. There’s more story to tell, there’s more fun stuff to do with this incredible ensemble of characters.’
