The woman is believed to be from the US and she has threatened to delete her friends if they did not RSVP yes to her event.

She started the post by writing, “At the risk of sounding entitled… I have to vent today.”

“When we invited our friends and family to our destination wedding wedding in Thailand, only 9 people RSVPs. Out of 150!!! Ok, I get it, paying $3k to share my special day is too much for some of you I’d pay for yours, but whatever.”

The bride goes on to say that they changed the destination to Hawaii to save their guests $1000, making the total cost $2000 USD, to which only 7 people RSVP’d.

The anonymous bride finished off her rant by saying she was “tempted to elope and not let any of you be a part of our happiest day” and that they only had “3 days to respond to our evites or were [sic] deleting you off FB”.

She also claimed that only the cheapest items on the wedding gift registry had been purchased.

A few hours after a screenshot of the rant was posted to sharing platform Reddit, another screenshot was posted with an update on the situation. Turns out, her fiancé David wasn’t too impress with her very direct post.

The bride posted:

“Now David is giving me a hard time over my earlier status. Can nobody understand where I’m coming from? Jeez all I want is to share my day with ya’ll, thats not too much to ask. I hoped at least my “love” would understand that. Thanks guys [sic]”

Many Reddit users were quick to point out the similarities between this bride and another from last month who was labelled a “bridezilla” after she cancelled her wedding as guests refused to “donate” $1500 to attend the celebration.

The bride, named Susan, posted a lengthy rant in which she wrote, “just f**king give me my money for my wedding.”
