Disgraced investment banker, Oliver Curtis, has been locked in his jail cell after clashing with a fellow inmate.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the husband of PR mogul Roxy Jacenko squared up to the prisoner in the common area of Cooma Correctional Centre after he began “ranting” at him.
“Another inmate stepped in to calm things down before all three of them were locked down in their cells for 24 hours as a warning,” a source told the publication.
“That is not the sort of behaviour that will be tolerated.”
The incident follows reports that the father-of-two had been targeted by other inmates who were demanding money in exchange for protection.
“They reckon he might be being stood over, but he hasn’t reported anything,” a source told Daily Mail.
Curtis was jailed in 2016 for conspiracy to commit insider trading.
The Sydneysider will remain behind bars for a minimum of one year, and is expected to be released on good behavior on June 23.
