And now, police have agreed to re-test evidence from JonBenet Ramsey’s murder file in order to finally put the case to rest.

Boulder’s chief of police Greg Testa has said his team will test the pageant star’s underwear and long johns in search of DNA. Any samples found would then be run through today’s FBI database which houses more than 15 million criminals.

Greg Testa said in a statement, ‘We are going to take a look at the new technology, and see how they may help us further this investigation.’

Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett added, ‘What I am confident about is that the Ramsey case is more than a DNA case, and to ever have a prosecutable case, we have to have several different pieces of evidence come together.’
