Disneyland Paris has gone into lockdown.
Panicking crowds have been filmed fleeing from the theme park tonight after reports of a blast.

‘I was at a coffee terrace when I saw people running and screaming,’ said one vistor.
‘We all started running in panic and I took refuge at the police station with dozens of other people. There were reports of disturbing noises at the station.’
Nothing has been confirmed by police or official representatives for Disneyland.
“There was a big crowd movement,” says Romain Goffinet, another witness at the park. “The terraces are deserted in the space of a few seconds. We were pushed to the shops. The security guards locked the doors and we were evacuated by the back shop. It was really panic. Many people were crying. We really wondered what was going on. I was with my son. The security guards then reported a false alarm, but the police presence is important on the site. There is also the army. For now, we are still evacuated but we do not know where we are going yet. ”
UPDATE: An apparent escalator failure was mistaken for gunshots and caused panic, sending the park into a lockdown while police secured the area.
Several people may have been injured during the evacuation.
France’s Interior Ministry later confirmed there was no ongoing threat.
