Last year Kristy Sellars welcomed her third child, Oliver, only 14 months after giving birth to her second child, Mason – and the mum of three reveals that having two babies so close left her feeling in the worst shape of her life.

“After I had the two babies pretty much back to back, I did lose most of my fitness,” she tells New Idea.
But, Kristy, 33, who runs the PhysiPole franchise, was determined to lose all her baby weight and perform a pole routine on Australia’s Got Talent only six months after giving birth to Oliver.
“I thought the show would be a great push to get back in shape after having my third baby,” she tells New Idea. “And, since having Ollie I have actually lost 20 kilos and I put on muscles and got my abs back.”
Of course, her journey back to pole dancing wasn’t easy. “When I started back at it, I’m not kidding, I could barely do one push up,” she shares.
“So, I just started trying and I just kept at it until eventually I could do a push up then another and so on. I just tried to focus on what’s the next step rather than the end goal because that was too overwhelming.”
Her hard work certainly paid off. She blew the judges away with her unique performance on Australia’s Got Talent and it was no surprise that all the judges said yes.
“It was amazing,” she recalls of the moment, but does admit that her eldest child, Rylie is her toughest judge.
“She is definitely a fifth judge and is really honest. If I show her something I’m working on and she doesn’t think it’s good she will let me know.”
Now, she is madly working on her performance for the next stage with Ryan Talbot, who designs the visual effects for her performance.
“He is the other brain behind it all,” she says. “The clock dance was the story I had in mind and without giving anything away, the next performance is what he had in mind.”
