Angelina Jolie has agreed to Brad Pitt’s request to seal divorce documents relating to custody of their six children.
Pitt fears publicising sensitive information during their divorce trial will compromise the kids’ privacy. He accused Jolie of releasing details to the media through public court filings. He also took issue with Jolie publicly releasing the names of the therapists working with the children.
Jolie has agreed to seal such documents but not before slamming Pitt claiming that he is “terrified that the public will learn the truth”. “There is little doubt that [Brad] would prefer to keep the entire case private, particularly given the detailed investigations by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Dept. of Children and Family Service into allegation of abuse.”
Pitt was cleared of all wrongdoing following the altercation on the family plane on September 14. The next court hearing for the matter will occur this month.
