Police attending a call over an assault in Spokane Washington claim that actor Jeremy Lindholm, 41 — who appeared in the recent TV revival of the bizarre mystery show – was beating the victim in an alley, allegedly with intent to kill.

According to a police press release, he quickly gave up when officers confronted him, before he was taken into custody. Video of the incident recorded the attack, described by police as an extremely violent assault, which is being called a domestic violence related.

There was information suggesting the intent of [Lindholm] was to kill the victim, according to the release.

Charges against the actor include attempted murder second degree, second degree assault and assault of the victim’s friend.

Lindholm is now being held on $100,000 bond.

His agent Anne Lillian Mitchell said she was stunned by the news.

Our interaction with him has always been consistently professional. We will monitor the trial. Our thoughts are with all involved and their families.
