They are the young royals and aristocrats you may never have heard of but soon will!
Lady Amelia Windsor
Lady Amelia is a third cousin to William and Harry. In 2016, Tatler magazine featured the striking 23-year-old on their front cover, naming her the “most beautiful member of the royal family”.
Lady Amelia, pictured in July 2018, spent a gap year in Thailand and India before studying French and Italian at Edinburgh uni
Not without her scandals, the model was once caught sunbathing topless in Ibiza and is a bit of an Instagram star and rebel – she has a tattoo of a tiger on her left shoulder and three animals on her wrist. A budding philanthropist, she has spoken about her interest in the environment.
Royal expert Phil Dampier said: “Amelia is not likely to feature as an active royal. Her modelling career and frequent racy appearances in the gossip columns may be the reason she was not invited to Harry and Meghan’s wedding, although the Queen always invites her entire family to Buckingham Palace for a Christmas lunch and keeps in touch with them all.
Samuel and Arthur Chatto
With their tens of thousands of Instagram followers, the Queen’s great-nephews – sons of Lady Sarah Chatto and husband Daniel – are modernising the royal family. Following in the footsteps of his late grandfather Lord Snowdon, Sam, 22, is the more artistic while Arthur,19, is a muscular hunk who attracted admiring comments when he posed for a photo in his Calvin Klein undies.
Phil says: “This has always been the Bohemian side of the family and the Queen is used to such goings on because her sister Princess Margaret, the boys’ grandmother, was unconventional herself. Sam and Arthur are thoroughly modern in that they live their lives through social media.”
Sam follows his dad Daniel Chatto, who is an artist, while Arthur has ambitions to join the army. The bad news for their female admirers at the moment is that both have girlfriends. “When Arthur revealed he was seeing fellow student Lizzie Friend several girls posted words like ‘jealous’ and ‘heartbroken’.
👋 Hello! Where have I been?! (1/3) 2018 was such an incredible year of self reflection and growth for me. I spent six weeks in the very north of Scotland immersed in pottery and ceramics, being taught by the most patient and passionate potter. Clay consumed my every waking hour and I am so excited to see what I can achieve this year! I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to the New Year, following their passions and building on what they learnt in 2018. Love to you all, Sam x #PASSIONISINFASHION
The bearded 24-year-old is handsome, wealthy and currently single – and has been rumoured to have caught the eye of Angelina Jolie and Nicki Minaj. In 2015, Louis attended one of Nicki’s shows, with the US star cheekily captioning an Instagram pic: “Check out our wedding photo.” Angelina was rumoured to be “smitten”.
Says Phil: “The UK’s primogeniture laws mean that although Louis is younger than Kitty, he will inherit the ancestral home, Althorp, when their father Earl Spencer dies, as he’s the eldest son. It’s extraordinary and some aristocrats are campaigning to change the law but it will take time. Louis is certainly a catch.”
Although not officially a royal, the 28-year-old daughter of Princess Diana’s brother Earl Spencer and his first wife Victoria is a stunning model and philanthropist who has graced the covers of top fashion magazines. She has been linked to 59-year-old retail tycoon Michael Lewis following a four-year romance with property magnate Niccolo Barattieri di San Pietro, which fizzled out.
“Kitty is beautiful, intelligent, well connected and generous, devoting much of her time to good causes,” Phil Dampier notes. “But she’s not shy of telling the world about her glamorous lifestyle, posting photos from exotic locations around the globe. She truly is a woman of the world.”
Lady Eliza Spencer and Lady Amelia Spencer
The twin sisters of Louis and Kitty, Eliza and Amelia, 26, are just as gorgeous as their siblings. The pair grew up in Cape Town and currently study there. The pair turned heads when they attended Meghan and Harry’s wedding along with their siblings.
