Hate the idea of using heavy-duty chemical cleaners in your microwave?
There’s an easier – and more natural – way to get the job done.
According to The Kitchn, all you need is one lemon.
Simply squeeze half a lemon into half a cup of water in a microwave-safe bowl. Add the lemon halves to the bowl.
Place the bowl in the microwave and zap it for three minutes or until it starts to boil.
Leave it to stand for five minutes, allowing the steam to do its work inside the microwave.
After you’ve carefully removed the bowl with the lemons, wipe down your microwave starting with the ceiling and sides.
Scrub any stubborn spots with a little of the lemon water on your towel.
