MKR’s Ruby hits back over ‘fish lips’ slur
She has rocketed to the top of the leaderboard on My Kitchen Rules – with the help of her fellow passionate Peruvian Andy – but now MKR’s Ruby has hit back at those who appear to be concentrating on her lips not her cooking!
Taking to her popular Instagram page, the brunette beauty hit back at critics who insist on talking about her ‘fish lips’.
“There have been so much talk about my fish lips ...” Ruby posted.
“Look getting Botox and filler is a personal choice I made,” the reality star continued.
“I love it and it’s all it matters and I will continue getting Botox and fillers.... so each to its own.
“I’ve always been team if it makes you happy go for it!”
MKR Pot stirrers Josh and Austin WERE quick to label Ruby as a “plastic chick” on the show – a comment which left not just the ladies, but the whole table shocked.
Andy, 31, has admitted she and her 39-year-old friend, have grown up in an environment where surgery is the norm.
“Back home in Peru people are so obsessed with the way they look,” she told New Idea.
“All my friends have had so many surgeries.
“I’ve got friends that have had nose jobs at 15, boob jobs, lipo, everything; it’s normal.
“It’s very surgery driven. It’s much cheaper [with] great doctors. People travel to Peru to get stuff done.”
