On Tuesday night's episode of My Kitchen Rules it was mother and son Lisa and John's turn to cook in the instant kitchen and Lisa could not help but get emotional.
Throughout the night, Lisa burst into tears as the judges Pete and Manu praised their efforts as they scored perfect 10s throughout.
And seeing the footage, Lisa says she feels a little embarrassed.
"I feel like a bit of a dick. I just want to apologise for all the tears. I want people to know that when I'm crying I'm happy, it's just water coming out of my face," Lisa told New Idea.
"It's a way for me to deal with stress, it doesn't mean that I'm unhappy. I laughed as much as I cried, or laughed more than I cried," she added.
"I am an emotional person and so is John. We do wear our hearts on our sleeves, what you see is what you get. We are just real people and we honestly just love entertaining people, having people in our home and sharing our food with them and enjoying life.
"People don't like criers and they do show me crying a lot. I don't want to embarrass anyone."
But despite the tears, Lisa and John got off to a good start, scoring 10/10 from Pete and Manu for EVERYTHING, which has never happened before.
“Tonight, you’ve made MKR history” said Manu.
“Welcome to the MKR Hall of Fame” Pete added.
