"The thing that we say a lot is that blood is thicker than water and people who did really well together were people who were related," Josh tells New Idea.
While many teams are beginning to feel the strain of spending so much time together, Josh and Austin say they have a true advantage thanks to their upbringing.
"I think the thing is that me and Austin were both home schooled and were the only two pupils at our school so we're used to being with each other all the time and it just worked out for us," Josh explains.
"In fact, it actually worked out for us so much more than other contestants because, one, we're related and, two, we spend so much of our lives together. We just watched everybody else on the show have moments where they just cracked as a team because they're not used to being around each other."
