Mum rants about number of "dress up days" at school
It's that time of year when it seems every day is a dress up or another school concert or awards day.
One mum has taken to Facebook to rant about the number of school "theme" days and her video post is going viral.
US writer, singer and mum of two Melissa Radke says she's frustrated by having to constantly come up with costumes and accessories.
'Red Ribbon Week y'all,' writes the US mum, explaining that her kids have to wear red on Monday, have crazy hair on Tuesday and wear neon on Wednesday to show "we're too bright for drugs".
The aim of the day, she writes, is to encourage children to be drug free throughout their lives.
'That's a lie,' she writes. 'The goal is to drive mums crazy with different outfits every single day.'
She says when kids are faced with the decision to take drugs they won't think back to crazy hair day!
Some commenters disagreed and said "theme" days were a great part of school life.
