There’s no ifs or buts about it, midwife and mum-of-four Ros is a shadow of her former self.
After years of turning to food to get her through those long hospital night shifts, the 55-year-old decided to change her life and commit to a strict diet and workout regimen.
‘I always ate well and exercised and cooked fresh food,’ Ros begins.
‘But one of the first things you had to do in that program was keep a food diary and I noticed I was eating well, it was just that the portion sizes were way off.
‘Since I initially lost those 20 kilos, I’ve changed the way I do things. I’ve got muscle now.’
While Ros managed to keep off the weight while on the show, her cooking partner and best friend, mum-of-three Karen, gained three kilos.
