I had a stressful job, which involved working on multi-billion- dollar projects and negotiating with union of officials and delegates on a daily basis.
Flying back and forth almost every weekend and working long hours didn’t help either – and I was a stress eater.
It got to the point where I needed some help. I had tried every diet there was but in the end
made the big decision to have gastric sleeve surgery. This was a crucial moment in my life but after a lot of hard work, I lost over 30kg and decided to change careers.
My real passion is still food but now I have a different relationship with it. I will always be a passionate foodie but, more than ever, I have to be a conscious foodie.
I have to be careful about what and how much I eat and therefore want to make every bite count!
