‘He isn’t a vindictive person, but he wouldn’t be human if he didn’t get some thrill out of knowing it must burn Miley to see him with Maddison,’ says the source. ‘Miley hurt Liam, plain and simple. So, there’s a lot of resentment there.’
While Maddison is new on the scene, it seems that Liam is sincere in his interest and friends predict the duo may have a real future together.
‘He’s not playing with her emotions - he genuinely likes her,’ says In Touch’s source.
‘He has a thing for blondes, obviously. And Maddison is like a classed-up version of Miley.
‘It’s a totally natural fit. They’re having a good time together. If he gets revenge in the process on Miley, so be it.’
As for Miley’s increasingly brazen and sexualised displays with Australian Cody Simpson, it seems that Liam is not falling for it.
‘Liam thinks she’s going way out of her way to show that she’s moved on,’ says the source. ‘The Cody posts made him laugh. At this point Liam doesn’t care.’
Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson took to Instagram on Tuesday night to unveil some new tattoos.
According to People, the new couple visited celebrity tattoo artist Nico Bassill’s private studio, Among the Willows in Los Angeles, California, to add some tattoos to their collection.
Cody got a skull and bones line drawing with the grim reaper’s signature scythe tattooed on his right chest.
Miley’s tattoo consisted of a bleeding heart with a knife pierced through it on her right arm.
The 26-year-old added the words 'Rock n’ Roll Heart' written in a ribbon across the heart-shaped art.
Miley shared a video of her new tattoo on Instagram, followed by a post featuring both herself and Cody flaunting their new ink.
