Wippa's mum reveals a secret about his penis live on-air
For every parent, there is an 'uh-oh' moment that happens when you accidentally hurt your child - and it's not easily forgotten.
That's why when Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli had a segment on the Fitzy and Wippa radio show for parents to share their stories of those moments, his own mother Christine had to call up and share hers.
Christine had a hilarious (and all too relatable) story to share with the listeners.
Fitzy joked, 'Come on, Christine, when did you drop him on his head?'
'Well I did that several times,' she quickly responded, laughing. 'But I also did something that was much, much worse.'
Christine went on to reveal she had accidentally pierced Wippa's penis when he was a baby, not once but TWICE.
'In the olden days, back when one wore fabric nappies,' she started. 'You'd use pins to do them up. We didn't have the old disposable nappies, so one needed to always put one's hand between the child and the nappy when one was putting a pin in.'
The two radio hosts let out a large groan, clearly knowing where Christine is headed with her story.
'Well - I actually pierced his little penis,' the guilty mum admits, 'not once, but TWICE!'
Christine's story was met with huge laughter.
Wippa saw the humour in the story though, saying, 'Yeah, when I was at the urinal and I was spraying around, I was known as the sprinkler kid.'
'Yeah, now he wees in every direction!' Christine joked.
Wippa and his wife Lisa share two children, Theodore and Jack, so no doubt they have their own fair share of hilarious parenting stories.
