In a heartfelt segment, the duo decided to talk about the moment that Michael found out his son Noah, 5, had been diagnosed with liver cancer.
The family received the gut-wrenching news when Noah was only three-years-old and it changed their lives.
“Obviously we got the diagnosis and that was it man, my whole life ended,” an emotional Michael said. “It’s too hard to talk about, man … basically they said that it wasn’t great. And so, we just took it day by day.”
Michael explained that after the diagnosis the family made the decision to relocate their lives to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles where
Noah has since beat the disease and is doing well, but Michael admitted that it still affects him.
“When this all started, I became the strength to somehow pull us and lift us and to be positive,” he revealed.
“When they got it out, and the chemo was done and they said, ‘We did it, it’s good, he’s OK,’ I just fell. My wife picks me up now”
Michael has been married to Luisana Lopilato for seven years and the couple share three children together, Noah, Elias, two, and Vida three months.
