MH370: It was the pilot
The widow of a passenger on missing flight MH370 claims she was told a pilot ‘took’ the jet.
Danica Weeks, 42, said the wife of the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak implied the plane was hijacked.
'[She said] it was very horrible that someone would do that to 238 innocent people,' the Australian mother-of-two told Channel Nine's 60 Minutes on Sunday night.
'She was insinuating that the pilots took the plane.'
Backing up Week’s claims, leading air crash investigator Larry Vance says he believes the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 was deliberately flown into the sea by a pilot.
Larry Vance, who was involved in the investigation of the Swissair Flight 111 in 1998, told 60 Minutes, ‘Somebody was flying the airplane at the end of its flight.’
‘Somebody was flying the airplane into the water. 'There is no other alternate theory that you can follow.
‘Of all the potentials that might have happened, there is no other theory that fits.’
His reason being that, 'An aircraft that goes out of control at 30,000 feet will hit the water with tremendous impact,' Vance said.
'We saw it in SwissAir, we see it in other accidents.'
