Meghan Markle is about to marry into royalty, BUT it turns out that she is descended from royalty herself, claims Express.
Meghan and Prince Harry are set to tie the knot on May 19 at St Georges Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle, but new research reveals that Meghan’s connections to the Royal Family goes way back.
New research has been obtained that reveals Meghan’s ancestors include Jane Seymour, Henry VIII’s third wife, who is buried in the very place that the couple will tie the knot – St George Chapel.
Jane was Queen of England from 1536 to 1537 and second cousin to Isabel Hildyard, Meghan’s 12th great-grandmother.
Rumoured to have been Henry’s favourite wife, Jane was famous for her gentle and peaceful nature and her humanitarian acts.
Jane became engaged to Henry just one day after his second wife Anne Boleyn was beheaded.

BUT, Jane isn’t the only royal that Meghan is related to claims the publication.
Ancestry’s geanealogists have reportedly unearthed a calligraphic chart which shows that one of Meghan’s ancestors is Lionel of Clarence, the third son of King Edward III, King of England.
She is also related to Sir Phillip Wentworth, a prominent English knight who fought for King Henry IV, claims the publication.
‘With so many notable royal descendants, we’re confident that Meghan is poised to take to her new role with ease and grace,' Russell James, a family history and DNA expert, told Express.
‘The world is clearly watching her every move as she transitions from Hollywood actress to royal Duchess but seeing the many ways in which her royal relatives could inspire her, it’s clear she will be a wonderful addition to British Royalty.’
