It comes after Thomas, a former Hollywood lighting director who lives in Mexico, had yet another go at Meghan and Harry over the weekend by jumping on the bandwagon about their recent trips on private jets.
“I’ve still never met my son-in-law. Why couldn’t Prince Harry have got on a plane and flown to see me to ask for her hand?" he told British newspaper The Mail on Sunday.
"He obviously has no problem getting on private jets.”
It comes amid claims that Duchess of Sussex is house hunting in the US.
It is no secret she is widely disliked by both the British public and press, with the US media and Hollywood A-listers often having to jump to the defence of the new mum.
The consistent hate has understandably led to Los Angeles native Meghan feeling homesick, with new reports suggesting the beaten-down Duchess has finally dug her heels in with husband Prince Harry and demanded they move to America as soon as possible.
According to the Daily Mail, Meghan has already chosen her dream California destination - Malibu - with friends of the royal saying the ex-actress is currently scouting out a mansion in the plush A-list neighbourhood, which counts stars like Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Aniston and Leonardo DiCaprio as its permanent residents.
Edmund Fry, a local LA cafe owner who also taught the now Duchess of Sussex etiquette lessons when she first moved to LA, told The Daily Express: "Meghan and Harry are looking for a place out here. I have heard that they are interested in Malibu.
"Knowing Meghan and talking to her, she misses home. Meghan is a Los Angeles girl, born and raised here with many links to Hollywood and friends here."
