Although Meghan Markle has been warmly welcomed into the Britsh monarchy, royal etiquette experts are yet to be impressed by the actress.
The Suits actress made a slight blunder on Christmas day at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham after a wobbly attempt at curtsying to the queen.
Grant Harrold, a former butler to the royal family and Britain's 'etiquette expert' explained on Good Morning Britain how the bride-to-be got it wrong.
'What you should be doing, for a lady, is the right foot behind the left, and then it is a gentle bob,' he said. 'You don’t want to go too far down because you might not come back up.'
'You keep the hands in because you’re not a penguin.'
He added that Duchess Catherine executed the move perfectly with a slight bend of the knee.
Despite the small mishap, Meghan managed to stun royal spectators at her first Christmas with the royal family.
The 36-year-old looked every inch the princess in a camel coat with brown leather gloves, bag and boots to match.
