“Thank you to all, for your service, sacrifice and commitment. It has been an important week to recognise those who serve (and have served) as well as to acknowledge their families.”
Meghan, who previously went on a US tour with the Chairman of The Joint Chiefs of Staff, visited troops in five countries: Spain, Italy, Turkey, Afghanistan and the United Kingdom.
According to the post, the Duchess met with service personnel and their families and she was said to have been very proud to recognise their service to the country.
“I have always had such a profound respect for our nation’s troops and military families. I cannot thank them enough for everything they do for us,” Meghan said at the time.
The touching post comes after it was revealed Meghan took Archie to New York City earlier in the year, when she went to see her BFF Serena Williams play in the US Open.
Speaking during an interview on Access Hollywood, Serena inadvertently shared that Meghan actually brought baby Archie with her when she came to NYC in September.
When asked about her close friendship with the Duchess, Serena gushed over Meghan, saying she is "literally the strongest person" she knows and the "nicest".
She continued: "She flew all the way with a newborn to see me play in New York and flew all the way back that night and I probably couldn't have done that.
"It kinda goes to show you what an amazing person she is and that's just one of the many things that she does for me."
