Many royal watchers have deduced Meghan has extremely flexible digits with one photo taken during a visit to the National Theatre last month showing that her fingers may be double-jointed.
Double-jointed fingers are a genetic trait that allows people to move their fingers - and in some cases, other parts of their body - beyond the normal range without pain.
Dr Adam Taylor from Lancaster Medical School told Fabulous Digital that it is the potential bendy fingers and the widely known fact that the former Suits actress practices yoga, which could mean the birth of the Duchess's baby will be easier than most.
Taylor told the publication: “The ligaments of the pelvis, which help hold the pelvis together, are believed to loosen over pregnancy.
“So any more mobility within these from having hypermobility may help make delivery easier too.”
According to the UK's top scientific hand and fingerprint analyst, Helen Elizabeth Evans this hypermobility could also mean the Duchess of Sussex has quicker labour.
Evans told The Sun: “If she is hyper-flexible, it may make giving birth easier than it would be for someone who is naturally quite tense.
“But there are too many factors that could impact her birth experience that are not indicated in the hands.”
