The series, which was filmed over a year, offers privileged access to The Queen and her family and tells the story of how the Commonwealth has been a central focus and passion of Her Majesty's throughout her lifetime.
As the family and world leaders discuss the importance of the Commonwealth to the Queen, the series will also document the way in which she passes her knowledge and experience to the younger generations.
Queen of the World will also offer a unique perspective on the Queen's early years as Head of the Commonwealth when her coronation gown was embroidered with the then eight symbols. It will then explore how the number has risen to 53 by the time the Duchess of Sussex decided to have flowers of the Commonwealth represented on her wedding veil in 2018.
