According to The Sun, the source has confirmed that instead of Lindo Wing at St Mary's hospital, Meghan Markle is pushing to have her baby at Frimley Park in Surrey.
The news follows reports that the former Suits actress has been dubbed "Duchess Difficult" by staff, as well as a long-held rumour that there is a feud between the two women, despite both Markle and Middleton putting on a happy face during the Christmas celebrations.
Although some may view the decision as petty, it seems Meghan is determined to walk the less luxurious royal path.
According to The Sun, the Lindo Wing at St Mary's can be compared to a 5-star hotel, with some new mums receiving offers of champagne and a world-class menu.
Markle, on the other hand, doesn't deem the luxury a necessity. It's reported that at Frimley Park, the rooms don't even have ensuite bathrooms.
Kensington Palace is yet to release an official statement as to where Meghan will give birth.
