Surprise! Guests at the Queen's annual Christmas party (held for staff of Buckingham Palace) got more than they bargained for last night, thanks to one very special guest: royal-to-be Meghan Markle.
The Daily Mail's royals reporter Rebecca English confirmed Markle's appearance at the annual event, marie claire reports, with sources also speaking to Hello!.
According to royal household staff, Markle chose a 'festive red dress' for the occasion. And judging by all the post-party talk, she caused quite a stir.
'Harry and Meghan spent about an hour at the party and they were really friendly and went around talking to everyone,' a guest told Hello!. 'Meghan was very sweet and so beautiful.'
