She scored a whopping 28 points out of 30 with her stunning - and delicious - pork belly dish.
According to her MasterChef bio, Tessa was born in Lower Hutt on the North Island in New Zealand, and in 2000, her family moved to Brisbane.
Her life since moving to Oz couldn't be more removed from her culinary pursuits if she tried!
She went to the Queensland University of Technology, where she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Accounting in 2011.
According to her bio, after 18 months working and living in Melbourne, she returned to Brisbane to work as an accountant, before moving into her current role working with crime and justice data for the state government.
Tessa's "A big fan of Rick Stein, Maggie Beer and Gordon Ramsay," and "hopes to open a farm café when her MasterChef journey comes to an end, focussing on seasonal produce in the south-east Queensland hinterland."
Away from the MasterChef kitchen, Tessa is all loved-up with her carpenter boyfriend-of-three-years, Eliot who actually gave her the encouragement to finally apply for the cooking show!
And when she isn't cooking, fighting crime and living her happily ever after, she loves the beach, mountain walking, camping and fishing.
