However, the Married At First Sight stars weight loss is authentic, as she revealed to 9Honey. The celeb claimed that while fans won't accept her "flaws", she won't be made to feel bad about her new body.
"No matter how your body changes through life, it doesn't mean you have to hide it or be made to feel ashamed for it," the Australian reality star said.
"I believe it's encouraging to see images of different body types on social media, and not being afraid to show your own physical fluctuations," she continued.
One thing the 28-year-old MAFS star wants her fans to understand is that her body weight is likely to fluctuate again, which is due to her ongoing medical conditions, including an auto-immune condition and porphyria (a blood disorder) that requires her to maintain a high-carb diet.
Elizabeth's weight has been a topic of discussion since her Married At First Sight 'husband' Sam Ball body-shamed her on national television.
On their 'wedding day', he claimed that he didn't usually date "big girls".
"I've never really dated girls as big as Elizabeth in the past," he told producers of the show, adding that he would have to get her "running in the mornings" to lose weight.
Since then, Elizabeth has made it her purpose to show off her figure alongside body-positive messages.
However, since her weight loss fans have accused Lizzie of losing her "moral compass" and sending the wrong message to young girls.
She reminded them that she will not stop posting the scantily clad photos on her social media, despite the backlash.
"People saying, 'You lost weight, how is that body confidence?' Honey, I was posing in bikinis way back when," she said.
"I'm putting myself out there so others can feel better about themselves. I'm risking a lot to raise awareness. I'm going to keep posting my body. Teach body love."
