"She is only looking out for me," he revealed. "I've dated in the past before where my mum and my girlfriend didn't see eye to eye but that never stopped me from seeing the person! I always go with my own opinion no matter what."
The Gold Coast dad went on to say that he finds it difficult to date because his mother wants him to fall in love "the old fashion way - head over heels."
He went on to say that he and Tam veered into friend-zone territory from the get go.
"I tried to see past that and every day since I've pushed myself to get close to her to see if that changes how I feel," he added.
One thing is for sure; tonight's episode is going to be a treat!
