The radio host initially broached the topic of Marks TV 'wife' by pointing out her cold nature towards him at the beginning, which Mark was quick to defend.
"I’ll defend her," Mark began, "Yes for the start, she was very cold which was confronting, but I think I figured out she’d been a product of her environment for 33 years.
"That was something that was difficult to break down at the beginning [sic] but in the end, we saw the real her."
Mark continued: "What the viewers didn’t see was a very, very funny, very caring, selfless person.”
Quite the glowing review from an ex, wouldn't you say?
The radio hosts then revealed Ning has confessed the pair still talk, which Mark confirmed sharing that the TV husband and wife speak 'every day'.
"We’re definitely still in touch there’s no doubt about that, we remained friends, it probably took about a week until the dust had settled.
"Look, we’re good friends we talk all the time. We text every da,y we were texting last night during the episode."
Mark then praised Ning yet again in the interview, calling her 'resilient': "She's obviously incredibly resilient, she's been through a lot, and we'll always be friends because we’ve got something to share."
