However, the couple's relationship hit the rocks after they left the show, with the pair finally breaking up after a live TV interview went horribly wrong, in April.
The gloves were off after Dan confirmed in a solo video interview with Yahoo that he and Jess were over for good.
“You live and learn… I have a lot of regret for some of the decisions I’ve made,” Dan said in the interview.
“The feeling is regret about ever meeting Jess.”
