TV Blackbox reported on Tuesday that the network had no plans to proceed with such a show.
An American version of MAFS: Honeymoon Island hit screens in 2018 - following 'fan favourites and some new faces' in a search for love in St Lucia.
But a Channel Nine spokesman told TV Blackbox that the rumour of an Australian version of the show was ‘completely false’.
Instead, the network will produce a second season of Love Island, hosted by Sophie Monk.
