Australian tennis star Margaret Court has slammed The Project hosts after an interview last week.
The interview comes after calls to re-name Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena after Court, 74, said she would stop using Qantas because of the airline’s promotion of same-sex marriage.
Court has now called her treatment on The Project 'disgusting'.
“I think that was disgusting, actually, the way they did not let me speak,” she told The Bolt Report.
“They didn’t want to hear what I had to say; all they wanted was for people to hear what they had to say.”
Court also told The Herald that host Waleed Aly was "disrespectful" for cutting her off during the segment.
Despite backlash, Court says she will continue to stand up for her beliefs.
“I’m not intimidated because I know who I am, I love family and I just stand up for righteousness and truth,” she said.
