MAFS: Best reactions to Lauren’s lesbian reveal
The World Wide Web has responded to Married at First Sight’s most talked about plot twist.
Last night Matthew tried to add a little spice to his relationship with Lauren, by asking her a few questions about herself.
Makeup artist Lauren quickly became frustrated as Matthew’s questions remained tame.
“This is Matt’s chance to take control and be spontaneous, this is what I want,” Lauren told the shows producers. “I guess I was expecting for him to ask something interesting."
However things took a dramatic turn when Matt asked Lauren to reveal “something about you that most people find surprising?”
“Um, I used to be a lesbian,” Lauren revealed.
“OK,” Matthew replied. “ … I don’t know what to ask now, I really don’t.”
“He just won’t talk, he shuts down,” Lauren later told producers.
The Internet quickly weighed on on the plot twist, and Matthew’s awkward question and answer session with Lauren.
