She found love on this season’s Married at First Sight, but it seems bride Sharon Marsh is not sentimental about her stunning wedding dress.
Put the designer gown she wore during her ceremony to carpenter Nick Furphy up for sale on auction site Ebay, the pretty blonde is hoping to raise some much-needed cash.
“50% of money from my dress goes to sick & disadvantaged kiddies.” She states on the listing. “Remaining 50% goes to my relocation costs to be with the man I LOVE. Shaz x.”
Describing it as “near new condition,” the the hand-made, strapless fishtail design, valued at a whopping $6000 was a favourite with fans when both twins picked out identical dresses for their double wedding on the reality show, making it even harder for their grooms to tell them apart.
Now in a long distance relationship between Perth and Melbourne, Sharon is determined to make their TV marriage go the distance, packing up her life for the man she loves.
And even though that means leaving her twin Michelle who was not so lucky-in-love, the cleaning business owner is excited about her future.
“Nick and Shaz are still going strong and are both committed to each other so it makes sense they are ready to set up home together,” says the friend.
“And its not just a trial to see how things go, she is giving up her job and moving her entire life interstate for good.”
