When he's not "on the tools being a tool," Sam Ball is tricking fans into believing he drives a $247,000 luxury car.
The controversial Married At First Sight star arrived at Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court on Monday in a G-Class Mercedes, not his banged-up Hyundai i30.
The construction worker also traded his hard hat and high-vis for a seriously dapper suit and loafers.
Pulling up alongside a NSW Police vehicle on busy Liverpool Street, onlookers would be forgiven for thinking he was a Hollywood star.

His expensive transformation coincided with the court hearing of his ex-girlfriend, Nadia Tabbaa.
In February, Sam claimed the woman he’d been dating for around three months “harassed him with calls, texts and emails,” leading NSW Police to take out an interim AVO against her.
However, Daily Mail claim court records show Tabbaa breached her AVO by “turning up to a home believed to be Ball’s shortly after 3am on March 21.”
The 26-year-old first contacted police about Tabbaa on February 4, and then on February 22, the 30-year-old woman was arrested at Sam’s Sydney home following a confrontation in the early hours of the morning.
She is now on a court-ordered curfew, meaning she can not leave her home between the hours of 10pm and 6am.
