Sam was previously accused of being a 'paid actor' after footage surfaced of him in Home & Away and in Netflix series Secret City.
But any suggestions were promptly denied as MAFS' executive producer, John Walsh, told 9Honey: 'The suggestion that any of them were hired as performers to appear on Married At First Sight is categorically untrue.'
Sam however hinted that his affair on the show with fellow contestant Ines Basic was staged after a fan commented on their relationship.
'Sorry, this is TV. [The affair] didn't happen. If you notice Ines' change of apparel in the edit, night and morning, that will be a good reference point,' he wrote on the Instagram post.
'But thank you for your concerns.'
