Mike unsympathetically suggests she takes some seasickness pills and drags her onto the boat. Later he suggests they climb the mast together.
“No, you can do it alone,” says Heidi miserably.
Mike proceeds to climb it alone and Heidi tells the camera. “I just don’t know how to be with this man… this date is all about him.”
As the sun goes down and Heidi sits alone getting increasingly seasick, Mike finally comes down from the mast and attempts to wow her with a gift.
“I wrote you a poem…” says Mike proudly.
Except it’s not a poem, it’s a letter about how he loves her curly hair and some other ramblings.
“Thanks for the letter,” groans Heidi wondering how she can end the relationship.
“I just want us to be on the same page. We’re just not there,” sighs Heidi.
“Look what do you want, just tell me what you want and I’ll do it,” says Mike angrily.
Heidi doesn’t know what to say and the couple sit there unable to come to a conclusion.
Later back at the apartment Heidi says she finds it hard to see a future with Mike.
Mike gets upset and heads off to bed alone. “I have a lot of thinking to do,” he says tossing and turning.
Heidi sits on the sofa and contemplates the end of their relationship. It this it? Will they ever get back together?
