It’s the question on everyone’s lips: did they or didn’t they?
But one groom has broken down exactly what happened when the cameras stopped rolling on Tuesday's episode of Married At First Sight.
“Last night was incredible,” cowboy Sean said, referring to his first night as man and wife with mining truck driver Susan.
“That bath was sensational.”
The couple’s chemistry was undeniable, with both parties appearing smitten with each other from the moment they met. They shared a few kisses during the ceremony and then continued the public display of affection with a sensual first dance at the reception.
Later that night the newlyweds even asked the cameras to leave so they could share a bubble bath together in their honeymoon suite.
The next morning Susan revealed that she was “looking forward to falling in love with Sean,” the spark between the pair still well and truly evident as she cuddled up to her new beau in bed.
But it wasn’t instant fireworks for all new couples on the show.
After a dramatic wedding reception, it was clear there Cheryl and Jonathan were not ready to take their relationship to the next step.
“You’ll never know,” Cheryl told one producer, when asked if the couple had done the deed on their first night together.
But new husband Jonathan quickly cleared up the question, saying: “it was never my intent to make an advance. And the camera was there.”
